We are open to posts from any time period or location on a wide range of subjects as long as they fit within our theme (see About). While we are happy to help you to promote yourself, posts must be focused on history and should not be purely promotional. Please get in contact for more on this. We’d love to hear from you!

General guidelines for posts:

We are looking for posts from historians, history bloggers, authors of historical fiction (romance included), history students, and history enthusiasts. We would like posts to be at least 500 words, but there is currently no upper limit to the length. We love sources, so please include your sources wherever possible. Any photos must be public domain or owned by you. If you do not have any photos in mind, we’ll be happy to try to find some for you. Please include a short bio and any personal links you would like to include. We do not publish excerpts at this time.
